We’re a family company, driven by compassion and a shared belief that technology should be a force for inclusion. With backgrounds in Software Development, Product Management, Business Development, and Marketing, we came together to create SensePilot - not just as a product, but as a way to empower people and break down barriers to digital access. We formed SensePilot during the AI Lithuania Hackathon in May 2024, presenting our idea of transforming standard webcams into hands-free computer control tools. Within a week, we built and showcased our first prototype, earning 2nd place and validating the idea. At the heart of our technology is Linas, our CTO, who has a background in software development and computer vision within Augmentative and Assistive Communication (AAC). He assembled the team and continues to drive the innovation behind SensePilot. His cousin, Iveta, leads our social media and marketing, sharing our mission with the world. Our CEO, Mike (Linas’ brother-in-law), brings deep experience in sales, business development, and product management, ensuring that SensePilot is not just innovative technology, but a necessary and impactful solution.
Since the hackathon, we incorporated SensePilot as a company and set our sights on building a sustainable business. With support from Firstpick and EIT Health, we are launching our head tracking and facial gesture control solution to the market.
SensePilot has been recognised as an essential innovation, addressing a clear gap in the industry where affordable, high-precision hands-free control solutions are still limited. Our work has been acknowledged through the inaugural Accessibility Innovation Prize from Contentsquare Foundation, awarded by a jury featuring industry leaders from Microsoft, Skyscanner, L’Oréal, and Diversidays.
